Degauss & Disposal

MPS has been processing over 50,000 tapes per month for companies nationwide over the past 18 years.  We’re there for your tapes – from birth to death!  For outdated media that we don’t purchase, we offer a degaussing & disposal service for a minimal fee.

We understand the sensitivity of your data and guarantee it will not be released.  It is important to note that MPS has no equipment that can read the data on any type of tape.  Upon completion, we will provide a Certificate of Destruction for your records. After the tapes are processed they are incinerated and converted into a “Refuse Derived Fuel” that is used to generate electricity at a local plant.
